And we thought the previous morning’s race had brutal weather conditions (it did), but Sunday brought very cold temperatures and gusting winds that, even with sunny skies, still made it feel like 22ºF at times. It was the sort of day when the photographer ended up wearing two pairs of gloves to combat the heat sinks that were his cameras and his toes took an extra long time to defrost back in the van. Congrats to the nearly 400 runners who showed up to race in these conditions!
