Welp… That happened. The National Weather Service called for “near blizzard” conditions from 9am to 11am which happened to coincide with the entirety of the race and yet nearly 500 runners showed up and finished in just brutal conditions of frozen precipitation that covered the ground in a slippery slush and winds that blasted the frozen precipitation into your faces. Congratulations to all who showed up to run (and double congrats to those who showed up AND showed off their St. Patrick’s pride with green face paint, shamrock socks, kilts, hats, and all manor of shirts)!
