We love a good mid-race stream crossing and all of the splashing goodness and/or attempts to keep one’s shoes dry that ensues. Luckily for us, the Lake Fairfax course delivers in spades with a creek crossing that you almost have to get your feet wet!. Of course to get the best picture of racers making their way across this creek the photographer has to wade in nearly up to their waist… But, we’ll subject our body to just about any temporary discomfort to make a pretty picture.
